Welcome to the Midsummer Mystery

We invite you again this year to three midsummer nights at Helgenæs with 100% holiday and 100% mystery. You can read the full program here.

The idea of mystery school has grown organically out of our Moving Meditation retreats in recent years, where a very classic, very new and very moving series of meditations has taken shape. They are organized as a 24-hour intensive continuous immersion process, in waves of silence and movement. The series addresses in a new way our deep embeddedness in living nature (read more in the program) and gave everyone such a clear experience of being completely new and open – a new living creature in a new living world – that we call the new process ” the cosmogony” (birth of the world) meditations. We see it as a kind of repetition of the mystery processes the ancient Greeks used to rediscover the connection with the cosmic.

Mystery courses are definitely something we do too little of these days. But the beauty is that it can be done today. In full depth. Without requiring drugs, rigid forms of authority or memberships. Humorous serious candor abounds.

After such a visit to the core of the mystery, of course we also have a mystery celebration.

We expect to continue the tradition of open evenings in Copenhagen and Aarhus based on the new meditations. But on a summer retreat you will be able to meet them in full bloom. Here we will have real time and space around the mystery process, and at the same time be able to pack it into holidays in Denmark’s most beautiful nature.

During the three days, we also achieve both lively philosophical reflections, lively silent meditations in Gomde’s beautiful temple hall, and many of the lively group meditative exercises you may know from our previous work, e.g. the open evenings in Aarhus. We hope you feel like sharing the explorations in the mystery school.

Read more about the course and practicalities in the course description. You are also welcome to check in on the event facebook page.

Warmly,

Moving Meditation.
